UPD is a leader in contract drilling services in Papua New Guinea (PNG) and has been providingmineral and geotechnical drilling and blasting services throughout Papua New Guinea for almost39 years.The Company operates from premises situated at Fikus Street, Madang and enjoys good clientrelationships, supplier networks and a strong reputation for providing a range of drilling servicesin PNG. The Company also maintains a branch in Fiji with options to expand into the SolomonIslands.
UPD is a highly mobile organisation and depending on contract requirements can employ up to250 personnel nation wide, utilising its wide range of drilling and associated specialist equipment.Designed and selected to ensure fast, easy, and cost-effective transportation, UPD’s equipmentand expertise can be moved to remote and difficult sites common to the region.
Major customers include exploration and large mining companies. The Company also has thecapacity to provide drill and blast services for civil construction and quarrying operations.
